According to this Theory, the trailer reveals the story’s true beginning. When Lucia is in prison following a possible treason by her gang at this critical moment, she is approached by Stephanie, who appears to be a prison consultant. Stephanie offers Lucia a chance to get out of prison, still with a condition she must collaborate with the justice system and betray her own gang.

For this Mission, she will have Jason, an undercover cop, by her side, whom Lucia must be introduced into the criminal world. They need to enter the criminal underworld without raising worries to destroy it.

This theory gains strength when observing that Lucia always seems to be in charge of guiding and directing Jason in the trailer, who seems out of place and uncomfortable in this criminal world. It also makes sense that Lucia’s line in the trailer says that the only way we can make it is to stay together as a team, and her request for trust indicates the need for Jason to trust her in this dangerous Mission.

This would also explain Lucia’s phrase. The only way we can make it is to stay together as a team and finally ask for trust because Jason has to trust her. 

They two will fall in love at some point in the story, and probably, one will be asked to betray the other. Maybe the police will ask Jason to send her back to prison after completing her assignment, but he will find a way to escape with her to free her. I don’t believe in the Theory that Jason is an undercover cop to betray Lucia; it wouldn’t make sense to 

Intense and complex plot in storyline

The story starts with Lucia in prison, and the presence of an electronic ankle monitor in the trailer’s thumbnail suggests that this scene might be the story’s beginning. The trailer focuses on Lucia and her life in Vice City and surrounding areas. Indicating that she may be the main protagonist, at least for part of the story. 

In all the scenes with Jason, Lucia always leads ahead, taking charge of situations like holding the money in the car and sitting on top of it in the hotel, motivating him. 

Based on this observation, the theory speculates that Jason might not be a criminal from the start but is led down this path by Lucia, similar to the relationship between Bonnie and Clyde. Jason may have moral principle and only be involve in his love for Lucia. 

At the same time, she seems more interested in money and a glamorous life. The theory also predicts a tragic ending, suggesting that depending on the player’s decisions, one of the protagonists might end up dead or imprisoned. 

The theory also highlights the choice of Tom Petty’s song Love is a Long Road in the trailer, which could have been intentionally chosen because it fits the narrative.

Still, since we see Lucia with an ankle monitor in the thumbnail of the trailer. We can assume the prison scene is the story’s beginning. 

The trailer focuses on Lucia and life in Vice City and surrounding areas, which leads me to believe Lucia will be our main protagonist. I know there are two, but she’s likely the main protagonist, at least for part of the story. In every scene with her and Jason, she’s taking the lead. She’s always walking in front of him, taking charge of the car, holding the money in the hotel, sitting on top of him, and motivating him. Now that we’ve established that she seems to be calling the shots in this relationship,

My theory on this :

Jason may not be a criminal from the start. He meets Lucia, and she uses her charm to persuade him into a life of crime, much like Clyde did with Bonnie. He likely has morals and is only in it for the love of Lucia, while Lucia is in it for the love of money, as we can see her really enjoying the high life and glamour in a few scenes, 

This story won’t have a happy ending. I truly believe that based on your decisions throughout the story, one of the protagonists must die at the end an honorable ending, we may see Lucia killed off and a dishonorable ending, and we see Jason killed off or one of the two sent to prison, I don’t see the story ending with both protagonists alive or free. 

Little Haiti in Miami

Tom Petty Love is a long road tried to make my world. The way she appears suggests that the game might include a neighborhood imitating Miami’s Little Haiti. Rockstar Games is known for its fictional universe, and this reference to Little Haiti is no exception. This adds a touch of realism and cultural diversity to the game.
